"London transport - At the Ticket Office: Selling and Buying tickets" - a 90-minute lesson with the focus on Reading - Writing and Speaking
I love lessons where students have to use English in "real" situations. 3 PAGES with the focus on reading + writing + speaking. Grammar: Simple Present + WH-questions. First, students read a very short dialogue at the ticket office and answer 3 questions. Then they read two longer dialogues. They answer and ask questions which will be useful for their writing task. They look at a London travel card and identify who bought it, answering some questions. Last but not least they write a similar dialogue with their partner and roleplay it.
