Beyoncé - If I were a boy
This is a listening worksheet using the song "If I were a boy" by Beyoncé. The correct answers for the questions are provided on a second page.
I´ve used it several times with great succcess, generally in the context of introducing or practising the second conditional. The lyrics are easy to understand for intermediate students, with only a minimal amount of unknown vocabulary. There are a lot of useful grammar structures in the text that can be exploited in further activities.
I like using this song as the content is very relevant for teenage students which increases their motivation to work with the text and then come up with similar texts themselves.
