Students are supposed to fill in the blanks with the verbs in the simple past, while they listen to the song. This is a very good opportunity for practicing the simple past since there are many different verbs (regular and irregular ones). I hope you enjoy it !

Students are supposed to do this activity while they watch the episode "everybody hates cake", from season 4 of the hit tv show "Everybody hates Chris".

This is a very nice song. I consider Boyce Avenue�s version way better than the original one (by Fun featuring Janelle Mon�e).

Students usually like Bruno Mars very much. This is a simple activity, which is focused on the present simple. Students are supposed to fill in the blanks, while they listen to the song. My students had great fun.

This is a very basic activity that would fit as a warmer. Students are supposed to fill in the blanks while they listen to the song. Note : the "second stanza activity" can be done before the actual listening, since there are directions to help students complete the spaces.

Filling in activity : song - Nothing on you (Bruno Mars featuring B.o.B.)
This a a nice activity for basic and pre intermediate students. It can also be a bit challenging, since there is a "hip hop segment" in the song, performed by B.o.B.
My students seem liked the task and were able to do the activity without any further problems.
