I am now, after more than 5 decades in the work force, officially semi-retired. New hobby: gardening. Old hobby restarting: table tennis. I still have some classes to teach and materials to design, many of which I will continue to share with the dear members of ESLPs. You may come across my materials on Facebook and my blog.

Phonics Criss Cross Puzzle: 4 versions included
I like criss cross puzzles as they make the child think about the whole of the word and not just the beginning and end. They also have to consider the length of the words. Such puzzles are not only useful but interesting for the student. This particular puzzle, which comes in 4 different variations, focuses on the spelling patterns and sounds repr...

3 pages of Phonic Comics with aw: worksheet, comic dialogue and key (#32)

What is big?: pictionaries, 2 versions with and without words. Instructions inside.
Whether something is big or little is relative and most of the teaching materials available do not show this relativity but this work does. Look out for the little pictionary which is here http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=567220#thetop and the big little bingo which is coming in a day or so. This worksheet complements my earlier work...

Its a boys world flash cards (1-16 of 32) with backs, activities and instructions
(Only 4 pages in the preview but 6 on download) After yesterdays discussion about flash cards on the forum I felt that ESLP members need to make more effort in creating worthwhile flash cards so here is my effort. Lost in America in colour and greyscale
Students read and study the dialogue before completing the Which way? puzzles. Then with a partner they use the map and dialogue to practice giving and receiving directions. I couldnt get my design clear in my head until after looking at http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=631158#thetop so thanks go to Sonja1985.
