Critical Listening
I use this as a way to help my students listen critically. After I have presented them with the interview I ask each of them to go home and listen to an interview themselves and write 5-8 multiple choice questions.

The Kooks Naive
Rather than just doing the simple gap fill this is. I tend to listen to the opening 5 lines and get students to write down what they hear. Then I ask them to translate it into their own language and back into English but using slightly different words. When we�re done I get them to tell me what the song means.

Put you class into pairs. Have on stand on the opposite side of the class to the other. Give each set of pairs one of the cards.
