Greetings: Beyond "I�m fine. Thank you"
My students have a problem with answering "I�m fine. Thank you. And you?" like robots every time I ask "How are you?" I made a lesson to teach them how to respond more naturally. I also taught them: "What�s up? -- "not much; nothing" and "How�s it going?" --- "OK; Not bad"

Have you ever __________? Practice with past participles
This double sided worksheet is good practice with past participles. On the front, students must write sentences-- questions, affirmative, and negative. On the back, students can relax a bit and complete a crossword puzzle and a word search.

How do you get to school?
Here the students practice writing sentences describing how they get from point A to point B. They also practice with adverbs of frequency: always, usually, often, sometimes, rarely, and never. Love Stinks-- Song for Valentine�s Day?
I played this last year during a Valentine�s Day lesson. The song is great for beginners, because it�s really slow and simple: "He loves her, but she loves him..."
