Types of shops
A set of cards: students match the items to the correct shop. Many different activities. eg. play �memory� or �go fish�. My young students had fun with it.

What can you do?
This is a questionnaire for students to use with each other in order to practise "can" & "can�t". Students complete the first column about themselves, using a cross or a tick. Then they go and interview two class mates & fill in the questionnaire as they go. When they are finished they can write sentences about themselves and their friends.

This is part 2. Students cut up the pictures and put into the correct box (in part 1) to say what they can and can�t do. Then they can talk and write about their abilities.

What did they do on the weekend?
Fill in the chart with ticks and crosses to indicate what each person did or didn�t do on the weekend. Students then generate sentences about what these people did on the weekend. eg Anna baked a cake. She didn�t play the violin etc
