THE LONELY GIANT - READING FOLLOW-UP
Hi! I was doing stories from around the world with my sts, and I got the book of Scottish folk and fairy tales. I found the story of the Lonely Giant very charming and did it for Valentines Day with my sts - this is a follow-up. They found it interesting, and it wasnt our typical Valentines day - we had a fantasy project with their drawings from...

meals - song worksheet
Whenever I covered food with very little kids, I wanted a song that links meals and food, and that can have changeable vocabulary items (you can change food words as you like them). Finally I used an old melody and wrote these lines, and it worked. This is a worksheet with some lesson-plan ideas for teachers on page 2. I used it with preschoolers a...

I use it as a ws, but also as a class poster. I sometimes give them colourful wss as a special reward, but its editable so you can print it in b&w if you want to.

MARK TWAIN - the reading/writing adventure
This is a project Ive prepared for my advanced groups. It can be used before, while and after you read any work by M. Twain, or completely separate from his work (but wouldnt it be a shame not to share some of his work with sts). It requires reading (funny anecdotes, biography, wise quotes) with tasks and a writing task in the end, with teachers...

tenses - when does it happen?
You know when your teenage or adult sts have covered most tenses in English, and there are always those who try to memorize the rules of usage instead of simply listening to the sentences to decide what happens when? So I made this ppt for my sts, to rely on their feelings about time, and only then ...
