Memory game - adjective collocations
Cut cards, shuffle cards, place cards on table facing down. SS turn over 2 at a time, if they match, they can keep them, if they don�t, they have to turn them back over and wait their turn to do it again. Play "Snap" afterwards.

Animal friendly vocabulary from PETA
Ask students to list all the animal idioms they know. If they mention any ones that are "a bit dark" draw attention to them. Are there any alternatives? Show them these. Tell them everyone laughed at this idea and no one uses the new idioms. Discuss whether it was a good idea.
