How are you? Expressions
This is a great worksheet for expanding the robotic "Im fine thank you, and you?" Students really appreciate the opportunity to express themselves more clearly and creatively. I correlate this worksheet with a review of different types of feelings. Its great to start a course with this as you can reinforce these new phrases over time. Enjoy!

Guns and Roses "Dont Cry" (Upper Beginner-Intermediate Song Cloze)
This song is quite repetitive, making it great for an intermediate level class. My middle school students are really interested in love and relationships, so this definately kept their attention. THREE SECTIONS - Lets Talk discussion point questions to warm-up; VOCAB to introduce new words; and LETS LISTEN song cloze. Afterwards I like to d...

In My Opinion - Expressing Opinions
This can really expand an intermediate learners ability to express themselves more clearly. I also created it upon request to teach more debating skills, of which I feel this worksheet is a basic introduction. This worksheet is an adjunct to my 6 VERB "In My Opinion" Lesson Plan. The 6 verbs are "I...: think, feel, believe, suspect, doubt, ma...

Role-Play Conversation Cards
The uses for these cards are so awesome and diverse! Here are the two main situations I use them in: - Students use this to create a dialogue around, role-play and present it to the class. This gets hilarious, theyre so creative when you give them the chance to open up. - Practicing a dialogue alone can be boring, so add these cards to the m...

They were SO creative when it came to making their own comics, they couldnt stop at one page.. Part 3, etc. I had them make sure they choose one tense ...

IN MY OPINION Interviews
This worksheet is great for getting beginner to intermediate students prepared for expressing their opinions and debating. Fortune Telling Slips
Students LOVED this adjunct to my Lunar New Years class in which they each walk away with a fortune both good and bad. Each students writes and then draws out of a crystal ball their fortune. The students were literally rolling on the ground laughing when a boy pulled out "You will have many boyfriends, but you will not be handsome." DIRECTION...

"Hows The Weather" Forecast Listening & Activity Sheet
This worksheet is for reinforcing basic weather and temperature phrasals.
