Pre-listening test
A great motivator in the ESL classroom. A pretest to see their current level. Hopefully your class will score 20-30 on this one. You should change the questions to fit the content you will teach... as this is a pretest and your post-test should test the same material to show that they grew in their listening ability as well as their vocabulary etc....

Directions Scavenger Hunt
I left it in the unedited version to include some ideas at the top as well as the vocabulary covered in the lesson...
Made a powerpoint with maps so that they could use the vocabulary quickly to show that they know it... then the next time they�ll do this scavenger hunt. Obviously you�ll need to edit some of the scavenger hunt directions.
