Back to Normality?
This is a sheet to get them thinking about where we go from here. They match up picture and description and consider some arguments. They then have to choose the arguments they agree with the most and also, write a paragraph about how they view the new normal. I love Rick - look at his little face! xx

Man by Steve Cutts
This is a short youtube clip (3 minutes 35 seconds). It should promote discussion. I have included the answers to the first set of questions. Its a bit scary, imho!

Breakfast with the Smiths
A lovely picture of a family having breakfast, with a true or false exercise. To correct the false sentences, they add the right information, or just make the sentences negative. To edit, just delete the red border.

London or Paris?
I am going to extend this and do projects on major European cities - but this may be useful as a picture-based discussion exercise. By the way - one of the pictures says its by Alpha Holiday lettings. Ive contacted them 3 times for permission and they havent replied. Anyway, its not actually a copyright mark. Second btw - Paris wins hands-down!

Scary picture!
They do the straightforward True or false activity, then.... either get them to use the prompt box and write sentences themselves, or, using the exercise on page 2, provide there is or there are. This picture was printed in a national newspaper, with no copyright mark, so it should be OK for us to use in an educational sense.

Cat Stevens/Yusuf Islam
Im going to do a mini project on Cat Stevens with my class, using some of the worksheets based on his songs from this great site. I thought Id start off with a mini biography. Here it is, I hope some of you like it!

RC She sells sea shells by the sea shore
Well, this is a famous tongue twister! I have expanded it a bit into a little story. They put the verbs into the present simple tense. If they succeed in saying: she sells sea shells by the sea shore: three times quickly, try them on this one, which nobody can do! It is impossible and it is just a name! PEGGY BABCOCK.
