Which fruit is which?
I used this worksheet with my grade 1s (2 worksheets per A4 sheet - trying to save paper). They really enjoyed it. We did the scrambled fruit as a class - as some of the students found it a bit challenging. Once you have the fruit in the boxes, you have to work out the secret code down the bottom. And once the students have worked out the secr...

Winter Clothing Activity (using clothing items and colours)
Good for any elementary age - if you are doing younger grades, you can add the first letters of the clothing after the arrows to make it a bit easier. The kids must write each item of clothing, and then colour them according to the instructions. There are 2 per A4 sheet - so less photocopying!

It was used for grade 6 students - their English is quite high so it worked well, but is definitely an intermediate to advanced level. It would also work with older s...

Our Respiratory System
This is the second class I used in my "Wonders of the Body" unit. It is all about the Respiratory system. The kids seemed to be pretty interested in this content. I try to make it as interesting as possible (cute pictures etc), as well as interesting with pictures of body organs which they found som...

Our Digestive System and Our Urinary System
I used this powerpoint in my grade 6 Oral English class in my Wonders of the Body Unit. I actually tended to use this particular powerpoint over two lessons - one for the digestive system and one for the urinary system. As opposed to this unit as I was - I found the kids to be quite curious, so I ...

Around the World - Asia
I used this powerpoint in my World Geography unit for Grade 6 Oral English. They quite liked talking about Asia as it is close to where they live (China), and many of them dont know that much about surrounding countries. Each slide has different questions about the different countries - we talked...
