A poem by franknbea

Some time ago I came across to this wonderful poem by ESLP member franknbea, posted in 2012I am a new member here. I suppose that many old members will remember the poem... I was deeply touched by its message - it simply spoke my mind and feelings I have been going through here. I decided to repost and dedicate it to VICTOR and all loyal members of the site. Especially to those, who have answered my PMs not only once, because, when I needed some help lately, I knew whom I could count on and wasnt mistaken... Huge thanks for your support and turning my worst day on the site into many best ones, as real amazing friends do!:) My warmest hugs to dear Monique Karagozian. I will always keep praying for you...

 Thank You... Bless you

For every step you walked with me... Thank You
For every time you made me smile... Bless You
For the words of encouragement
For compliments not always deserved but always well received
For the help you have provided that you may have not even conceived
For being the one place in the entire world
Where I can turn to for solace and contentment
For offering all that you offer, and doing so without resentment
For getting me out of jam, more times than I can count
Whenever a teaching challenge seemed too big to surmount
Thank You...
Bless You...

I have cried here, I have laughed here, been helped and helped here
I have tried here, but most of all...
I have learned here
Thank You...
Bless You...

The sentiments in the poem are wonderful and I feel the same, so thank you for the post, kohai. Don t want to get too soppy, but this site has enriched my life, as well as my teaching. I haven t always been as kind as I could though and I think I ve upset one or two, but... I didn t mean it.  Anyway, over and above that, we are a great community, here to support each other.
