Matching the parts of a quote is a challenging activity which enlarges our students� vocabulary and practices their grammar. This is a very simple speaking practice. I�ve made it to my young students when I was teaching family members and jobs.
Students have to ask each other about people�s information in order to complete the task.

Half a crossword
Students work in pairs or groups (A & B). Students A get crossword A, students B get crossword B. Both crosswords are only half filled in. Students have to complete their crosswords by asking and answering questions. When student A asks what a missing word is (e.g. What is 3 across?) student B tries to explain or demonstrate the word.
