Countries and Nationalities
This class aims to help student making a connection between countries and their nationalities. It is important to teach the verb to be AFTER the nationalities explanation, because students will already be using the verb, and they will not be scared once you tell them: "it´s easy, you´ve been already using the verb, now you just know its name."
Observation: the first slide of the presentation is a very fun activity, where you can ask students, using their native language if needed, if they know where those childreen are from. Let them guess. Ask them to right down their opinions. At the end of the activity or even at the end of the class, tell them, for example, that they are all Brazilian ( or another nationality), explain that society is diverse, in the same country we can have different people, with different backgrounds and different ethnicities.
