This one is a fantasy task. It can be done in pairs. In every pair one person is an optimist and one is a pessimist. They start making up their story with the sentence under the picture. A: Fortunately, I went out for a walk. B: Unfortunately, it was raining. A: Fortunately, I had an umbrella. B: Unfortunately, it was broken. A: Fortunately, my friend lived nearby, etc. It can be done in groups of students, as well.
