Grammar and phonics with a Penguin Theme
I use this packet as a ´do now´ or independent seat work for my students while they are waiting for a lesson to begin or if they finish early. This packet contains the following: 1 page of word building/play, 1 page of putting the words in a sentence in correct order, 1 page on -er vs. -est endings, 2 pages on dictionary skills (1 on antonyms & 1 on definitions), 1 page on R blends (pr- & Gr- focused on), 1 page on than vs. then, 1 page on compound words and alphabetic order.
