English powerpoint: Basic Shapes Basic Shapes

Print this document using a variety of colors. Ask students to categorize the various shapes. Students can name the groups they create. Also, students can place the shapes in order from smallest to largest, for example. Plus, you can draw spots or lines on some of the shapes to differentiate. You can add magnetic tape to the back of the shapes to create a sorting center/ station. If you donīt have a magnet board, a large, baking pan should work.
