English worksheet: British anthems (part1) British anthems (part1)

This worksheet is composed of 3 parts. You can find the audio versions of the anthems on youtube. 1st the students listen to the 5 British anthems and fill in the blanks or re-order the lyrics on the 1st ws (for land of my fathers they just listen to the Gaelic version and react!) Then they start completing the info sheet. They find the title and nationality and we correct it together. In a 2nd lesson I give information cards to 15 volunteers (or victims, it depends on the group!). The class ask questions to fill in the rest of the info sheet and each pupil who has the answer must react and give it to the class. We had fun doing this activity and my pupils particularly liked Oh Danny boy (some even cried). If you have any questions please ask me. You have the answers on part 3.
