Writing Numbers Activity
This is great for advanced students who already mastered how to order numbers 1-10 but still practice writing all the basic numbers correctly .
Each student received a copy of this worksheet plus a cut out set of numbers 11-19 mixed up in order.
(See my printable worksheet activity called "Numbers 11-19 cut and paste")
Students glue the cut out numbers in order in the appropriate boxes.
Then students trace the numbers. Use directional language to help them write correctly... "start from top to bottom" for 16: "down, around and down". Trace the numbers on the desk so they can visualize as you speak.
Students now attempt to write the numbers on their own.
