Special shapes bingo
This is just bingo, with shapes. No words, shapes.
There is no color.
So the students can first color their bingo sheets then play.
You can help them color the sheets by:
a) telling them the shape and color (boring)
b) letting individual students pull a shape out of a hat then suggesting a color
c) letting individual students pull a color out of a hat and suggest a shape
d) etc etc
When you (or a student) “call” the game you can then say “Blue square”, “red circle” etc.
But also read the preview as it scrolls past for the EXTRA SPECIAL BINGO.
Also the age suggestion is just that. I have used this with adult ESL learners. They understand that it is a fun game that helps them learn the names of some shapes.
