The Night Mare
Ask the students to read the text carefully or read it out to them. Students can also be asked to read a line each (if in a small group). Then, leave them some time to answer the questions. This activity can be used to control their reading comprehension and writing level. You can also use it interactively. When they are finished, make them exchange their copies and answers and make them tell the class about the answers of their friends, e.g.
"Maria thinks that ...", "John wrote that ...", etc.
