Sherlock Holmes case I: Reported speech (statements, orders, questions) Sherlock Holmes case I: Reported speech (statements, orders, questions)

A full overview on reported speech, including statements, orders and requests, and questions. Embedded in a detective story which motivates students to find the murderer, the ws combines reading and grammar. Short exercises and grids for the rules (as briefly as possible) are included. Hope you like it. Key: It must have been - as usual - the gardener! The gardener had a love affair with Mrs Moneybag, and Mr Moneybag´s last will was found in the gardener´s room. So he must have known Mrs M. wouldn´t have got any money after Mr Moneybag´s death if the love affair had been made public. Maybe Mrs Moneybag was his accomplice, but there is no evidence for that.
