Make vs. Do
Review activity: the contents of when to use Do or Make have been taught in a previous class.
Simply ask students to shake their hands if the word you, the instructor, mention collocates with ´do´, and ask them to hold their nose with their hands if it collocates with ´make´. Usually students get quite excited, as they like moving, and get involved into the learning. It´s simply, but I think it works very well. Hope you like it!
