Receiving Foreigners
A 1´30´´ lesson-plan focused on intermediate learners capable of understanding the basic modals, narrating past events and organizing ideas in a written context, such as a guide. In this 4-activity-class your students will create the profiles of two foreigner visitors that are coming to spend some days in the students´ city. After that, students brainstorm possible activities and places to visit, get together to plan a tour and in the end write a thank you e-mail regarding the trip of the foreigners.
The lesson plan has a Teacher´s Guide (TG) with orientations of how to proceed with the 4 activities, as well a Warm-Up and Closing or Follow-up section. It works both with speaking and writing.
