English worksheet: Create a Pamphlet on the Evacuation of World War II Create a Pamphlet on the Evacuation of World War II

My students are reading Lord of the Flies which follows a group of British boys who are stranded on a tropical island. The reason they are stranded is because they were part of the evacuation of children from Great Britain during World War II. Students are asked to visit a website and research information about the evacuation. Then they create a tri-fold pamphlet explaining the evacuation. This printable is the template for that brochure. The directions are in the middle of the first page but when the printable is given to students it should be double-sided. Then they simply paste information over each section of directions and fold the paper appropriately to create the final pamphlet. There are no pictures because students are encouraged to add and draw their own.
