The Students archives
In the beginning of the module students are given the task of producing a portfolio. Which contains compositions that show their capacity on developing dialogues using informal language, a formal petition at work and reported speech about a recent and famous newspaper article. Since it is only a 45-minute-class, students need to be aware that they will be taught to prepare short samples of some of the most common material one may find in an English student’s portfolio. A warm-up about ‘What portfolios are and how to create them’ is necessary. A simple explanation by the teacher that must not take more than 5 minutes. Then, applying some interactive settings, students start producing the written material.
