ENGLISH MAN IN NEW YORK - 2 EXERCISES
EXERCISE 1 is A FUN LISTENING ACTIVITY that keeps Ss very QUIET! The lyrics contains 15 mistakes, so Ss have to listen carefully in order to find them. FIRST Ss listen to the song to identify and underline the mistakes (play song twice), and then listen again to correct them (play song another two times). For more advanced Ss, they can listen and correct at the same time (play song twice).
EXERCISE 2 is a WORD ORDER exercise. First Ss order the words and then listen to the song to check answers. Or they can order the sentences as they listen.
