English worksheet: Johnny Cash--A Boy Named Sue Johnny Cash--A Boy Named Sue

This activity is a very simple, but fun one. The first part of the activity involves listening to the song via youtube.com (addresses are give in the document for versions that I like). First with no lyrics. Before class you should cut the lyrics for the song into strips then mix them up well so that a group of students can then listen to the song and put the strips into the correct order. I like to make a contest out of it. After a couple few tries I then play the youtube video with the lyrics included on the screen so they can check their answers. After this little competition is over we then discuss the song lyrics using the definitions I´ve included. Pretty simple but fun!
