English worksheet: MY FREEZE RAY, a SONG lesson to help READING! MY FREEZE RAY, a SONG lesson to help READING!

This is a song lesson for the song MY FREEZE RAY, a song from Dr Horrible´s Sing-Along Blog by Joss Whedon. A song lesson that helps strengthen READING COMPREHENSION, SCANNING SKILLS, and PREDICTION SKILL! Good for ALL AGES! (middle school and up!) Your students will LOVE IT! Featuring a CATCHY SONG with EASY VOCABULARY! Good for Low-Intermediate through Advanced! The lesson plan includes ideas for extension activities, possible ART projects, discussion questions, comprehension questions, and even the METHODOLOGICAL JUSTIFICATION behind the lesson plan, so you can JUSTIFY to your school WHY you are doing a FUN SONG LESSON in a reading class! This has been TESTED on SEVERAL groups of English Language Learners, ranging from high school through 60+ years old. It has ALWAYS been a hit, whether in Ukraine or in Korea. I use it when I teach TESOL certification classes to show how songs can improve READING! It can be done WITH or WITHOUT the video (though the video makes a nice addition). Without the video, simply skip the last part of the lesson plan.
