from Chau´s official website.
My students in China responded positively to this story, citing a vocabulary and structure they found that they could navigate.
I prepared questions and suggest, if you do use the story, to have the students retell the story in pairs. Next, repair the students and give them the questions--one student in each pair with the odd questions, and the other student in each pair with the even questions. When this is finished (these two exercises will probably take 50 minutes minimum), put the students in new pairs and ask them to identify and discuss issues the story raises.
