| | My classroom rules minibook
									Teachers notes
I recommend you give the children this minibook as a reminder after a discussion together with them of what the class rules should be and why.
It is important to make it positive, so after a brainstorming of what should be done to ensure learning is going on well, it is a good idea to note the kidsīideas on the board and see how they can be changed from negative into positive statements.
For example: Donīt throw papers on the floor will be turned into: Pick papers and throw them in the bin.
Do not write on the tables: write in my book
Etc....
The last part of the conversation should deal with the reason for rules and insist on the reward part rather than punishment.
I suggest they get some nice stickers whenever they behave , which they can keep in a little envelope affixed to the minibook.

Thank you again dedicated teacher for your template!
