Regular and Irregular Past Tense Verb Practice with a Theme - My Fathers Great LIfe
This is an exercise that I use when covering the simple past. (Regular and irregular verbs). Students work in pairs to complete the cloze exercise. When they complete the exercise I use this as a speaking script and have selected students read their answers from this story. I listen and correct pronunciation etc. of these simple past verb forms.
