DISCUSSION Students have to choose a subject from the list and prepare a short speech on it. They are allowed to make a list of words and/or expressions to help them, but on no account sentences. It is NOT a written exercise. Depending on the level of the group/student they can then talk for two or more minutes. There is a small lifeboat containing some useful things and they have to decide which five items they would take and why. Level: intermediate Age: 13-100 Type: activity-card     Icebreaker - find someone who....... This popular game helps students get to know each other in a short time. Copy this sheet for every student and ask them to find someone different for each item. You may time the activity or let it continue till everyone has completed their sheet. Level: elementary Age: 13-100 Type: activity-card     Ice-breaker - questionnaire Students go around the room and interview four students in order the fill in the four boxes on the worksheet. When it�s finished they have to tell the class about one of the students they have interviewed. I�ve also included a possible follow-up for the next lesson and another ice-breaker idea. Level: intermediate Age: 14-100 Type: activity-card	EVERYDAY SITUATIONS 2 Get them talking again! Another 30 slides including everyday situations which could happen in an English speaking country. As with the first one I�ve given some possible answers as examples. Always a good gap-filler to finish off the lesson or the term.
