ARAGORNÂ´S AND BRAVEHEARTÂ´S BATTLE SPEECHES
This is an old printable of mine IÂ´ve just edited( make sure you donÂ´t download it twice). I think itÂ´s better now, and IÂ´ve included links to the youtube videos. I use these two beautiful speeches as a listening exercise to practise some phonetics. ThereÂ´s a "fill in the gaps" with phonetic clues ( the symbols donÂ´t seem to appear in the preview, but they do in the downloaded version). Students like it very much, and itÂ´s a great opportunity to listen to the original voices and acting works of the actors.Some brave students have dramatized them and the class loved it! Enjoy!
