The lord of the rings. Listening
Task based on a Lord of the rings trailer. ( youtube. write: lord of the rings trilogy trailer. 6ī.44. 2ī each part)
Itīs meant to be used as a listening, but they prefer watching it as well.
First there are some questions and definitions and then they use the answers to fill in the gaps in the texts ( one part per lesson) is all right.
Apart from varied vocabulary, there are several irregular pasts,p.participles and some modal verbs, question words...Thatīs what I needed to check with them, but you may decide to delete different words. Itīs up to you.
The last page is a key.
After working the words I tell them to just watch, listen and enjoy the actorsī real voices, the entonation, and sometimes I tell them to dramatize parts of the text and most of them love it! Enjoy!
