Jeopardy
This is a game called Jeopardy you can easily use with a whole class, for example at the end of the year (or any other period !). You have to make your students divide into groups. You let them choose a theme among the ones on the paper (history, geography,...) and the number of points. You can write the themes and the number of points on the board. Then you tell them the answer, and the students must find the correct question corresponding to this answer (all the questions start with "What is" or "Who is"). If they find the correct question, they get the points otherwise they donīt get any points. Then you move on to the next group, and so on, until you have done all the questions. The more there are points, the more difficult the question is. As for the bonus questions, if the students choose it, they must choose the number of points themselves, without knowing if the question is difficult or not ; if they get the right question, they win the number of points they have chosen, but if they get the question wrong, they loose the number of points they have chosen. At the end, the group with the most points wins. Some answers contain some French language, so you have to change it into your own language. Have fun !
