Find the mistakes 1 Find the mistakes 1

The students have been loving these "find the mistake" activities and I think you will find them very useful as a warmer or as an opportunity to quiz the students on their grammar knowledge. Each sentence has one mistake. Give the students 20 minutes (depending on level) then underline the mistakes (OHP), for those that havenīt found them and give the students another 10 minutes to fix the mistakes.. Then go through each sentence eliciting the answers and explaining the grammar rule.

Very realistic mistakes! I hear these all the time! Did you do a lot of research to make this worksheet? Only one criticism - well, not really a criticism, but it would be even better if the worksheet could explain a little bit about the grammar rules, or at least mention the names of the types of words that have been misused, to make them quicker to look up. I guess when Iīve got more teaching experience I wonīt need it anyway, but at the moment it would be very useful.
