Vicious Circle - modal verbs - board game
An interesting and creative way to revise modal verbs and "have to". Itīs a board game with cards. Learners may play in different teams and compete with each other (the team that finishes the board first - wins).
Itīs called a vicious circle as learners (using a dice) must get out from each "circle" - in order to do that they need to move exactly to space "way out", whenever they roll too much they need to go round again :) space "try again" means that they can get back to previous space and try to roll the exact number of spaces to leave the circle. In other cases learners complete the tasks that are on the cards - they should write down their answers so that the teacher may check them afterwards. The drawing (that some spaces require) may be done on the board. Have fun!!!
