I used this story as a warm up for past tenses. I previously hand out strips of paper to the students with the name of 1 different tense each. Then, I told the story to the class and each time they heard a verb, the one with the tense written of the paper had to stand up. This made them more concentrated on the use of tense and more active listening to the story. Thanks for the text, it worked pretty well !
