Reading and Writing Exercise: Present Simple and Past Tense worksheet

This worksheet is good for elementary students who have recently learned past simple tense and who know present simple. I´ve used it with children as young as 9 and as old as 14. The first part of this worksheet has students read a passage in present simple tense and then they are asked to circle the present simple verbs. Then, the students rewrite the same text into past simple tense. Lastly, the students write what they did yesterday in past simple tense. It´s good for comparing when to use each tense. Editable.
