Four different exercises to practise the use of the past simple of to be in all its forms + the use of did-didn’t as the auxiliary verb of the past simple in negative statements and questions. 1º- Students have to complete some sentences with was, were or did. 2º- They complete a text with the past form of to be or did- didn’t. 3º- They choose the right option to complete the sentences. 4º- They fill in the blanks in some sentences with was-were- did-wasn’t- weren’t or didn’t and then match the sentences to the pictures..
