WORD FORMATION COMPETITION (battle one)
This is a word formation activity which falls into two subtasks. First, students in teams try to derive new words from those presented on slide two, then they must make up words, using the affixes from subtask one. Mind that there is timing for students (it, of course, can be deactivated) who are guided through the activity in the automatic mode once the slides are active. For subtask one they must say something within 7 seconds before the word gets closed, while for the second subtask they are allowed to think for 15 seconds for each of the affixes. Each correctly formed word brings ss united in one team ONE POINT. Rules can be changed depending on your vision of the competition). Btw, battle two is coming soon!
