Class Rules
This lesson has students practice the imperative form and gives them an active role in class management by asking them to make rules. It is a very effective lesson to do early in the school year.
I have used this lesson with many different classes aged 12-14. Ideally you want to keep the time on the powerpoint to 10 minutes or less and allow 30 minutes for students to make their posters. I provide them with colored paper and coloring pens and, depending on their level, ask them to make 5-10 sentences.
The posters make great classroom decoration!
