English powerpoint: Ever seen this woman? Ever seen this woman?

Not one of my most colourful activities, but the lesson I had using this ppt turned out to be one of the most powerful and memorable experiences with teenagers. I had been looking for an interesting, unlike-typical-school history text to do with kids, when this text came to me via e-mail and stunned me. I did some work on it. Itīs a story about an old woman and starts off with her picture, and when you read about her life, itīs just such a shock...So we had an active reading-speaking lesson about how appearances can be deceiving. You can never judge a book by its cover, right?
