You know when your teenage or adult sts have covered most tenses in English, and there are always those who try to memorize the rules of usage instead of simply listening to the sentences to decide what happens when? So I made this ppt for my sts, to rely on their feelings about time, and only then to decide on the name of the tenses. It may look simple, but it turned out to be quite effective and boosted their self-confidence.
