oral presentation - lion factfile sample
This is an oral presentation sample for ss to know what I ask them to produce when they are to have an oral presentation about their favourite animal. So this is the result after the 3 classes working on a multi-episode worksheet that I uploaded called ANIMAL FACTFILE.
The ppt is divided into different aspects about the animal: physical appearance, habitat, distribution, diet, etc. They may use one or more than one slide for each aspect. If they work in pairs the presentation should be longer (6 slides more or less). Ss shouldn´t read everything from the ppt but have a look at it to remember what they have to explain to the class. Pictures can be hints for them to know what they have to say without reading.
The design and illustration of the texts should be the last thing they do as they usually get distracted when looking for pics on the net.
