Powerpuff Girls and the passive voice
It works as a snapshot to introduce the passive voice structure. There is a fight animation in Townsville and a newspaper page which tells how the villains were defeated by the Powerpuff Girls. It also tells the story of the girls and examples in italics of the passive voice. Your students can do a research of something that happened to them, their family, neighborhood or their own town using the passive voice, then report it to their classmates. Have fun!
