This powerpoint works for two seperate classes on the past perfect. First class, I used this with a pile of flashcards with pictures and words of an emotion and students had to make a sentence explaining what had happened to make them feel that way. Communicative activity and personalising. Part 2 of the class - I used flashcards of a visual story in 6 parts. We ordered the story and elaborated tne events. Next we changed the order of the story and had to use the past perfect. This leads to students doing there own flashbacks. Take a look at YOUTUBE - Space Alone. What had happened to the alien before? This would be ideal for the next session. Narrative Flashbacks.
